2026 Survey Shows Strong Resident Satisfaction
The 2026 Resident Survey found that residents continue to view Andover positively overall, with strong ratings for quality of life, raising a family, public safety, schools, and other Town services. The results also highlight areas for continued focus and will help inform Town priorities, investments, and planning in the years ahead.

Celebrate America's 250th in Andover at RevFest

Chandler Road Community Garden
This past spring Andover opened its newest community garden as part of the first phase of the Chandler Road Recreation Area Project. Gardeners have already been making great use of the space planting vegetables, a sensory garden, and a pollinator pathway.
Merrimack River Cleanup
For the past 5 years Andover's Conservation Division has partnered with Clean Harbors to clean the Town's shoreline along the Merrimack River. Typically, the team removes smaller pieces of litter from the water, but after 3 docks washed up on the river banks the mission for the day was a little bit different.
History of the Andover Skatepark
Since it opened in the 90s, Andover Youth Services' Skate Park at Andover High School has been a destination for skateboarders in Andover and beyond.

Rupert The Oak Tree
The Town of Andover’s Tree Committee is working to find, document, and honor remarkable trees throughout the community through its Deep Roots program. One of Andover’s most remarkable trees is Rupert, a striking white oak in the Bald Hill Conservation Area that has stood for more than 250 years. Over the centuries, he has remained as a living connection to Andover’s history while continuing to provide important habitat and environmental benefits today. Upgrades to Andover's School Buildings
While students were away for Summer vacation, Andover's facilities department got to work renovating and improving Andover school buildings.
New Sidewalks Coming to Andover
Construction is now underway on a new sidewalk along Tewksbury Street, an important project that will improve pedestrian access and connectivity along a key roadway in Ballardvale.
